Tribebuilding 2
Tribebuilding 2 is a continuation of last year's tribebuilding contest from the authors of Curse of the Spider King,Wayne Batson and Christopher Hopper. This year the seven tribes have already been formed, but you can still join.(I am in Swiftstorm Tribe, and it is awesome.) The idea of the contest is that the tribe who wins the most vanidals,(points),gets first prize. You can join by contacting Seth Reid. Excerpt of The Rise Of a Hero
Here is the excerpt of my book, The Rise Of A Hero, I told you I would send later today.I hope you enjoy it!
Young Parodin was sitting on his porch watching the sunset when his mother called him in for dinner. As he walked inside, a tall, blond-haired man walked up to the door and sat down a small envelope with a red seal. He also put a small dagger with a ruby handle by it, then walked back into the forest, slowly disappearing into the dark pines. After dinner, Parodin went back outside to finish watching the sunset. When he opened the door, he saw the small dagger and a letter pinned beneath it. He picked them up curiously and went back inside to show his mother and father. As Parodin laid them on the table, his father picked up the elegant letter fearfully. He stared at the seal and saw a stag imprinted on it. That is the sign of the woods. And then he knew. No! Not yet, the boy is only seventeen! He ripped open the seal, and on the letter, in spidery cursive, were these simple words: It is time to tell the boy.
